Wrapping up the "Building Back Better II" project
Over three years - 52 educational facilities equipped, repairs at 35 sites and 35 improved shelters; the results reached 31,584 people.
Three years ago we launched a project to help communities create safer and more comfortable conditions for children, teenagers and families affected by the war. Now it is time to sum up the results.
Over the course of the “Building Back Better II - Build, Rebuild, Improve” project we supported 52 educational facilities with equipment, furniture and construction materials, carried out repair and construction works at 35 facilities, and improved conditions at 35 collective shelters in Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy and Kirovohrad oblasts.
In total, the project reached 31,584 people, and the combined value of works performed and equipment purchased came to almost UAH 106M.
The project was made possible through the partnership with Plan International Ukraine and funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ / Deutsche Zusammenarbeit).
