Implementing partner

ICF "Friends' Hands"

Case management, social support and targeted aid for affected households (annual report 2025, pp. 20-21).

Shelling leaves families without housing or a means to live, while people with limited mobility and internally displaced people find it hardest to reach aid distribution points. These people need support right where they are.

What we did

Throughout 2025 the foundation supported people affected by shelling, those who lost their homes or were displaced within Donetsk oblast, with particular attention to highly vulnerable families, people with disabilities and people with limited mobility. The team worked through case management, social support and targeted aid tailored to individual needs: 26 families (50 people) received individual case management, 231 people were reached with case management and consultations, 179 people received bedding kits and 26 received social transportation (annual report 2025, pp. 20-21).

Funding

One of three projects the Ukrainian NGO Fund financed in 2025 with support from DEC and the Start Network: 5,467,366.31 UAH received in total (annual report 2025, p. 54) and 4,999,914.00 UAH spent across the three grants (pp. 56-57). The report does not split the sum between projects, so no separate budget is shown here.
